Y Sediment strainers protect pipeline components such as pumps and meters by removing suspended solids and impurities. Transparent thermoplastic construction permits easy detection of the screen's condition. Also available with an in-line clean out valve to flush accumulated solids out of the strainer port.

Chemical processing, aquariums, mining, water treatment, landfills

Note:

v Volatile liquids such as a hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) and sodium hypochlorite (NaCIO) medium may vaporize, thus causing an abnormal pressure increase in the valve. (Important: Gas is compressible. Thus if its pressure rises abnormally, gas may break a valve into pieces, which in turn violently scatter in all directions.)
